3D Printed Jet Engine - This a 3-shaft turbofan jet engine of my own design, inspired by Rolls-Royce engines.
Materials - rotating parts are printed in white PLA, stationary parts are printed in black PLA.
3D Printed Radio Controlled Hovercraft - this is my own design and uses 2 brushless ducted fans, one for lift and one for thrust - both powered by the same 11.1v LiPo battery. Steering is via a micro servo. Materials: Hull is PETG, Skirt is sewn rip-stop nylon.
1950s Singer Sewing Machine based CNC Embroidery Machine - this is my own design and uses 3 servo motors with an arduino GRBL based control system.
Materials: PLA.
Cast Iron Gate Repair - Several scrolls and a 'Fleur De Lys' were missing, I 3D scanned the nearby intact ones and 3D printed these to be glued into place and painted to match the cast iron. Materials: ABS.
3D Printed Rotary Cutter Template - This is a simple tool to aid with cutting 4.25" squares - it has slots to allow the cutter wheel to cut precisely to each corner with a safety block to prevent it slipping.
Materials: Nylon-12 with chopped carbon fibre.
3D Printed Replacement Camera Mount - A friend asked me to assist in replacing a cracked camera mount part. I took measurements and reverse engineered it. Materials: PETG.
3D Printed Elephant Coasters - These are of my own design as a mini-project. The coasters themselves are mini-elephants and stack inside the main elephant for storage.
